Custom-made table tennis bats
Would you like a table tennis blade that is ideally suited to your playing style, your hand or your material requirements? At SOULSPIN, there are two options: either you use our configurator with many selection options or you request a genuine custom-made product if you want to go further.
Our configurator is sufficient for most players. The request form is intended for special requests that are not shown there.
Which path is right for you?
Configurator
- you want to customize your blade
- you want to adapt your grip to your hand
- you want to choose from the available wood types, blade sizes and other options
- you want to order directly
- ideal for most players
Custom design
- you need something that is not selectable in the configurator
- you want an individual veneer combination
- you want to have an old racket rebuilt that is no longer produced in this way
- you want to use special types of wood
- you would like an individual offer in advance
The request is free of charge
“The configurator already covers the majority of all useful customizations. Custom-made products are intended for special requirements.”
What is possible with a custom-made product – and what is not
These adjustments are possible
- Individual veneer structure
- Choice of different wood types and veneer thicknesses
- Selection and positioning of different synthetic fibers
- Adaptations for special requirements in terms of feel, speed or balance
- Free choice of all SOULSPIN handle shapes including NEW ERA handles
- Customized blade sizes and shapes (for an additional charge and after prior inspection)
What is not possible
- Reproduction of handles from other manufacturers – We have the largest selection of handles in the whole world – everyone will find what they are looking for here
- Individual handle designs with your own colors and patterns – you can choose from our 14 handle colors choose freely
- Specification of a desired weight – we do not guarantee the final weight of your individual racket
- As a general rule, not every wish is technically sensible or advisable from a playing perspective – we will point out possible problems in advance
- Selection of particularly exotic types of wood such as Hinoki
Typical cases where a custom-made product makes sense
- Your blade fits almost perfectly, but you want to change a little about the speed
- You’ve been playing your beloved bat for years, but it’s no longer being made
- You play a bat that you like in principle, but the standard grip just doesn’t suit your hand
- You want to position a certain fiber differently
This is how a custom-made product works
- You describe your wish in the form.
- We check whether the implementation is technically sensible and feasible.
- You will receive an individual offer.
- Only then do you decide whether we should build your blade.

Available handles
We have 64 different SOULSPIN 3D grip shapes and lengths in our range. You can freely combine all shapes and adapt the grip perfectly to your hand – so every player can find the right grip.
You can also choose from our NEW ERA grips.
If you have been playing with normal standard grips so far and want to stick with them, the shapes G1 for a straight grip and K1 for a concave grip are ideal.
In individual cases, we have also already reproduced individual handle shapes. Whether this is possible must be decided on a case-by-case basis. Please note that individual CNC programming is required for this and we charge a surcharge for this.
You can find detailed information on our handle shapes here >>
Frequently asked questions about custom-made table tennis blades
Yes, in most cases this is possible. Please give us the exact name of the racket and we will check whether we have the exact veneer structure in our database. If not, you would have to send us the original so that we can determine and measure the veneers.
No, unfortunately good Hinoki is impossible to get outside of Japan. However, spruce is a good alternative, as it comes very close to the feel of Hinoki.
In most cases we can give a rough estimate in advance – we cannot guarantee the final weight, especially not for custom-made products.
Please send us a 1:1 drawing of the desired shape as a vector file. We will take a look at it and then give you feedback on whether it is technically feasible or not.
No, the blade is built especially for you and therefore cannot be exchanged.
